I have a 10, 5 y/o and a 6 month old. Last year my now 10 year old asked for so many toys and she wrote a whole long letter to Santa about how excited she was to get all her new OMG dolls and how much she was going to play with them. This year she didn’t ask for any toys at all.. She asked for a few arts supplies, jewelry and Claire’s accessories. It makes me sad she is growing up so fast. Is it normal to feel this way?

I hate Christmas, not for the holiday itself, but because i'm not allowed to give my kids something without people getting annoyed/mad at me for it. Every single time it's "Why didn't you just wait until Christmas?" or "That could have been a Christmas gift." Why should I have to wait?
